Terms of Service

Terms for using ExplainerLabs.

Last updated: 6 May 2026

These terms explain how this website and our studio engagement process work. Project-specific terms, pricing, scope, timelines, and ownership are confirmed separately in writing.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website, booking a call, submitting an enquiry, or working with ExplainerLabs, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit project information.

2. What ExplainerLabs does

ExplainerLabs provides strategy, scripting, design, animation, motion graphics, launch assets, and related creative services for AI, SaaS, and technology companies.

Information on this website is general. It is not a binding offer, guarantee, or final scope of work unless confirmed in a separate written proposal, agreement, invoice, or statement of work.

3. Enquiries and strategy calls

You may contact us, request a concept, or book a strategy call through the website, email, or Calendly. You agree that information you provide is accurate and that you have permission to share any company, product, or brand materials with us.

Free concepts, strategy calls, and initial recommendations are provided at our discretion and do not create an obligation for either party to start a paid project.

4. Project scope and approvals

Paid projects are governed by the written scope, timeline, deliverables, revision rounds, fees, and approval process agreed before work begins.

  • Changes outside the agreed scope may require a revised quote or timeline.
  • Client delays in feedback, approvals, assets, or access may affect delivery dates.
  • Final responsibility for reviewing facts, claims, legal wording, and regulated messaging rests with the client.

5. Client materials and responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that any materials you provide, including logos, screenshots, product footage, scripts, brand assets, music references, data, and testimonials, can legally be used for the project.

You agree not to provide confidential, sensitive, or third-party restricted material unless it is necessary for the project and we have agreed how it should be handled.

6. Ownership and usage rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final paid deliverables become available for your business use after full payment is received. Drafts, unused concepts, source files, project files, internal methods, templates, and working materials remain owned by ExplainerLabs unless specifically included in the agreed scope.

Third-party assets such as fonts, music, voiceover, plugins, stock footage, or software may be subject to their own licence terms.

7. Fees, payment, and cancellations

Project fees, deposits, milestones, taxes, and payment deadlines are confirmed in writing before production begins. Work may pause if payments are late.

Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling terms depend on the project stage and the written agreement for that project.

8. Portfolio and case study use

Unless a project is covered by confidentiality terms or we agree otherwise in writing, ExplainerLabs may reference completed work in portfolios, proposals, social posts, case studies, and sales materials after public launch.

If your project cannot be shown publicly, please tell us before work begins so we can document that clearly.

9. Website use

You may view and use this website for legitimate business purposes. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, misuse, or interfere with the website, its content, or its systems.

We may update, remove, or change website content at any time.

10. Disclaimers and liability

We aim to provide high-quality creative and strategic work, but we do not guarantee specific commercial results, revenue, conversion rates, investment outcomes, or platform performance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ExplainerLabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from website use or project work.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
